Jamie Vardy may not be in the England squad, but the striker had an instant reunion with his former international team-mates on Tuesday.

England face Switzerland at Leicester's King Power Stadium and made use of The Foxes' training ground to prepare for the friendly, which meant that Vardy bumped into some very familiar faces.

Leicester striker Vardy hasn't officially retired from international duty but the 31-year-old revealed earlier this month that he is stepping aside from representing England and doesn't want to be considered for selection unless there is an injury crisis.

Vardy enjoyed catching up with England assistant coach Steve Holland at the Belvoir Driver training ground.

During his three year international career Vardy was capped by England on 26 occasions and scored seven goals, which included a strike against Wales at Euro 2016.

Despite Vardy not being involved, there is still a strong Leicester presence in the squad, with Harry Maguire joined by Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell, with the latter pair called up from the under-21s with numbers depleted.

Gray and Chilwell took time to speak to their club manager Claude Puel, who seemed delighted that his players could make their senior international debuts.

England boss Gareth Southgate is likely to make several alterations to his side and is already without Dele Alli and Luke Shaw, who have withdrawn through injury. Striker Harry Kane is also set to be rested but the Three Lions will still be seeking to bounce back from the defeat that they suffered to Spain.
