Jamie Vardy expressed his anger with Burnley fans on Saturday afternoon after the visiting fans mocked the striker's wife for her role in the much-publicised row with Coleen Rooney.

Vardy's wife, Rebekah, was involved in a huge Twitter spat during the international break in which Coleen Rooney, wife of Wayne Rooney, publicly accused Rebekah of leaking private stories about the Rooney family to the press.

The story took Twitter by storm and Rebekah was quick to deny any involvement in leaking information about the Rooneys.

Burnley fans however took the opportunity to goad former England international Jamie over the sage, chanting: 'Jamie Vardy, your wife is a grass' while the away side were leading 1-0 in the Premier League game.

Vardy equalised for the home side just before the half time break and was quick to run over to the Burnley fans to vent his frustrations at them.

The 32-year-old put both hands towards his ears to tell the travelling supporters just what he thought of their chants.

Vardy went on to have the last laugh as a Youri Tielemans strike was enough to earn Leicester all three points on Saturday.
