Villa hope to sign Juventus striker Jonathan David on loan with obligatory buy option

According to TuttoMercatoWeb and Sportiva Radio journalist Marco Conterio, Aston Villa is interested in signing Juventus striker Jonathan David.

There have been many reports that the Canadian striker was put on the transfer market just 12 months after joining Juventus as a free agent, despite commissions and bonuses totaling up to €12 million, making him far from a true "free transfer."

Marco Conterio revealed that Villa hopes to initially loan Jonathan David with a mandatory buy-option clause at the end of the season.

This clause represents a significant change compared to the previously reported "loan + optional buy-out" arrangement.
