Leicester midfielder Vicente Iborra has joined Villarreal in a cut-price £9m deal.
The Foxes were looking to get back the £12.5m they paid for the Spaniard when he signed from Sevilla - with whom he won the Europa League three times - 18 months ago.
The 30-year-old was a favourite with Leicester fans despite never really managing to hold down a regular first team spot.
Iborra’s family also had trouble settling in this country and he’s been looking to land a move back home.

Very good midfielder really a shame to lose him. I'd have always paired him with either Mendy or Ndidi
Why did they sell him then?

All he did was help to hold Choudhury back a while longer. Complete waste of time signing him

It just seems that the big money signings they made post title win haven't come off! Shame as they could've maybe ruffled the big boys feathers for a couple more years!

Leicester bought some right duds after that title win. What a waste.
