When he was sent-off against in the Eagles’ defeat to the Reds, the 20-year-old defender hit a mark that he would rather have not
Aaron Wan-Bissaka joined an exclusive but unwanted club in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Monday.
Bissaka was given the marching orders by referee Michael Oliver in the 75th minute following a clumsy tackle on Mohamed Salah.
And in the process, he became the youngest Crystal Palace player to be sent off in the Premier League at 20 years and 267 days.
Goals from James Milner and Sadio Mane handed the Reds a valuable away win to maintain their 100 percent record in their last three visits to Selhurst Park.
It proved a miserable weekend for the 20-year-old who put up a great performance in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 away win at Fulham in the season’s opening day at the Craven Cottage.

Problem will be keeping him at Selhurst. Jonathan Pearce in Radio 5 is a fan. And he is not that easy to impress.

His takle on Mane when he bombed down the line and into the penalty box was first class. Serious talent you lot got there.

I never thought I’d say this about a Palace player, but if he continues on this trajectory he’ll end up more talented than Wilf.
