Arsene Wenger made a brief return to management this Sunday for the Kanu Cup.
The former Arsenal boss took charge of a team comprised of Premier League legends - predominantly former Gunners stars - for a special charity match against a squad of African football all-stars.
The match was organised to help raise money for live-saving treatments for children and adults across Africa. Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu set up his own foundation with the match taking place at Barnet's Hive Stadium.
Among those taking part in the star-studded match were Robert Pires, Sol Campbell, Michael Essien, Louis Saha, William Gallas and Kolo Toure.
Wenger also made a welcome return to the dugout for the occasion.
The Gunners legend stepped down from his role at the Emirates after 22 years in charge at the end of last season.
Wenger was replaced by Unai Emery, who has so far guided Arsenal to fifth in the Premier League table after seven games played.
Wenger has yet to confirm whether he will return to professional management.
He recently told L'est Republicain: "If I was [retired] I would have been for a long time. I will be 69 in October. I have not really thought about that because I told myself that in the first few months I would not take any decisions.
Premier League Masters: Lehmann, Thompson, Gallas, Babb, Chimbonda, McManaman, Pires, Greening, Richardson, Saha, Webber
Subs: Brown, Riza, Eagles, Campbell, Kanu
African Masters: Shaaban, C Kanu, Toure, Shittu, Bassong, Lua Lua, Essien, Djemba-Djemba, Odemwingie, Yakubu, Kanu

Manager, philosopher, educator. I hope we get to hear him speak regularly in some capacity again. Whether that's as a manager of another club or a sports commentator or the head of FIFA, I miss his 2 cents.
