My ratings after a much-improved performance. Leno- 7/10: Made a few good saves yet again, the deflection off maitland-niles meant he coudnt stop our goal Maitland niles- 6/10: Made positive runs going forward and did ok. but he's largely responsible for West Ham's goal ducking away from a tame shot Chambers- 7/10: Looks far more comfortable at CB than RB, he and holding would make a good CB duo if Freddie picks them. Sokratis- 6.5/10: Like Chambers, relatively comfortable playing out from the back this time in a much better defensive display. Kolasinac- 7.5/10: Defensively solid, and provided a decent assist for martinelli. Torreira- 7/10: gave a good performance in the middle of the park and made up well for his own mistake in the first half. Xhaka- 5.5/10: On another day his mistakes could have cost us dear, wasn't too bad generally but his typical lapses in concentration leave a lot to be desired Martinelli- 8.5/10: We should start this kid every week if we can. tried to make things happen in the attacking areas and scored a well-taken goal Pepe- 8/10: Largely average for the opening 55 minutes but upped his game before going off. great finish and a great assist for Auba Ozil- 8.5/10: played some neat passes going forward and made the right decisions in the final 3rd, instrumental in our final 2 goals. Auba- 8.5/10: Linked up well with those around him and scored a good volley to secure our 3 points Subs (excluding kolasinac): Guendouzi- 6.5/10: gave an assured midfield performance after coming on and helped us see out the game. Nelson- 6/10: Came off the bench and wasn't involved a lot but didn't do anything wrong.
