Declan Rice certainly got the tongues of Chelsea fans wagging by posting a photo online with Blues legend Didier Drogba on Monday night.

Rice has been strongly linked with a £65m move from West Ham to Stamford Bridge this summer, with Chelsea reportedly willing to listen to offers for midfielder Jorginho in order to fund a move for the England international.

The 21-year-old is also best friends with Blues attacking midfielder Mason Mount and the pair both managed to grab snaps with Drogba while at famous chef Salt Bae's restaurant on the Greek island of Mykonos.

Other Instagram stories show that Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was present in Salt Bae's company on Monday, with Fikayo Tomori and Christian Pulisic also on holiday with Abraham.

Needless to say, the photos with 'agent Drogba' excited Chelsea supporters on social media, with one saying: 'Declan Rice in Mykonos with Tammy, Mason, Puli and Tomori AND Drogba? Only a matter of time now.'

Another joked: 'Mason Mount, Declan Rice and Didier Drogba just chilling together. Thoughts with West Ham fans at this difficult time, whilst a Chelsea fan added: 'Drogba was spotted with Declan Rice... something is cooking.'

Chelsea supporters were further triggered when Salt Bae himself posted a photo in the early hours of Tuesday which included Mount and Rice, saying: 'Good luck guys from Chelsea.'

The latest reports on Rice's future are that West Ham's summer business could hinge on the future of the 21-year-old, who the Hammers may be forced to sell in order to fund new signings.

Rice was crucial in midfield as David Moyes masterminded a late charge out of the relegation zone, finishing the 2019-20 campaign in 16th, five points clear of the drop.

The 21-year-old impressively didn't miss a minute of the Premier League season and has attracted attention from his boyhood club Chelsea, with Frank Lampard weighing-up a bid in the region of £65m-£70m.

That being said, West Ham manager David Moyes has revealed that they haven't received any bids for Rice as of yet this summer.

Moyes told The Evening Standard: 'At the moment there have been no offers for Declan and we don't want any. There's always interest but we don't want to encourage it.'

The midfielder has seven caps in Gareth Southgate's England side and could be played at centre-back for Chelsea, as Lampard attempts to solve their leaky back-line.
