The Blues will look to extend their domestic winning streak from five games to six when they travel to face the Irons
Maurizio Sarri will be aiming to clinch his sixth successive Premier League win with Chelsea when his side travel to West Ham to contest a London derby on Sunday afternoon.
Only Liverpool have matched Chelsea's five-game winning streak so far this season, with the last time two clubs doing so in the English top-flight happening over 110 years ago.
The Blues will be motivated following their 1-0 win over PAOK in the Europa League earlier in the week, though Manuel Pellegrini's side will be similarly buoyed after registering an emphatic 3-1 win over Everton last weekend.
TV Channel, Live Stream & How To Watch
In the United States (US), the game will be shown on NBC Sports and streamed online via the NBC Sports Live app.
In the United Kingdom (UK), the game can be watched live on Sky Sports and streamed via Sky Go.
Squads & Team News
Marko Arnautovic was substituted in the second half of West Ham's 3-1 win over Everton last weekend with a knee problem after scoring, and is a doubt.
Javier Hernandez will miss the fixture due to illness, while Jack Wilshere remains sidelined for a lengthy period of time after undergoing ankle surgery.
Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Winston Reid are long-term injury absentees.
Potential West Ham XI: Fabianski; Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku; Rice, Obiang, Noble; Yarmolenko, Anderson; Antonio.
Pedro picked up a shoulder injury in Thursday night's Europa League clash with PAOK and may not be risked, though both the player and his manager have played down the severity of the knock.
Potential Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Giroud, Hazard.
Betting & Match Odds
Chelsea are priced at odds of 8/13 to take all three points, according to bet 365, while a draw is available at 10/3. A win for the Hammers is considered to be a 19/4 shot.
Match Preview
Pellegrini has had a turbulent start to the season as West Ham manager with four straight defeats leaving them towards the bottom of the table, but a 3-1 win over Everton has lifted spirits and given fans hope ahead of a huge clash with their London rivals.
The Hammers took four points off of the Blues in 2017-18, winning 1-0 at London Stadium and holding Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, and they will be hoping for similar results this term.
Sarri, meanwhile, will be eager to maintain his perfect start to the season with a potential six wins in a row – seven including the Europa League – after resting key man Hazard on Thursday.
Alvaro Morata may sit the fixture out after failing to score against PAOK despite having seven shots, with none of those efforts on target.
The Blues have a crucial few weeks ahead, having to play Liverpool twice in both the league and Carabao Cup, and will likely re-jig their squad.

A seemingly easy fixture is looking much more difficult if Chicharito is fit and Morata is out. We'll also probably revert to a 3-4-3 which I can't say I'm a fan of. West Ham's midfield is sturdy and well enough to disrupt Fabregas leaving Kante to pick up a majority of the work. If we're going to be serious about 3-5-2, we should stick to it. This game has all the making of us losing if we're not careful and with Arsenal and Liverpool right behind us, a loss would not be welcome at all.

Bad feeling about this one - West Ham love a performance against us, and it would be very West Ham/Chelsea for them to spring the upset... like when they ended our winning streak. However, reasons to be cheerful include them getting their big ‘first win’ last week (as it would be typical for this to come against us, like Palace last year), they’re missing some key players - but can still see Arnautovic having some involvement, and that the Boleyn Ground is no more - the atmosphere and pressure at the London Stadium seems to make it more of a disadvantage than advantage... and the Boleyn Ground was the definition of “tough place to go”.

We can afford to rest Jorginho tbh because Fabregas is an excellent alternative. Liverpool will play a weakened squad too. However Kante should really have been rested vs PAOK. We didn't need his skillset for such a game where we had most of the possession, but we definitely can't replace him in the league. However he needs to play today. Kovacic can play his role in midweek with Barkley/RLC slotting in for the third midfielder.

I’m confident but If we get through this I think it would do the world of good to rest Jorginho or Kante midweek. Resting both would be better but unlikely to do that, more so Kante, sure he’s a machine but he still needs rest and hasn’t had much whatsoever after the WC. Liverpool aren’t going to field their best team so we should still go strong but let Kante rest for the league game, Hazard could play both Liverpool games which would be nice.

West Ham always show up against us. If Hernandez has any part of this game be it from the bench or starting he will score. He always, always finds the net against us. I only remember one game which he played where he never scored and that was for United in the Cup a few years ago and it took a superb save by Cech to deny him. I hope we will win but I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that Hernandez will come on and score, even if it’s just a consolation.
