West Ham United have just six games left to avoid relegation from the Premier League and here is how their next four fixtures compare with those also battling to avoid the drop
West Ham United have just six games left to secure their place in the Premier League as the relegation battle continues.
The Hammers sit 15th in the table five points above the bottom three with six games left to play, although David Moyes’ side have a game in-hand over those below them.
With three wins and two draws in their last seven matches, West Ham are also in better form compared to some of their rivals. But with many twists and turns already as we gear up for the final furlong of the season, picking out three teams to go down is becoming somewhat unpredictable.
Leicester City climbed out of the relegation zone last weekend with a 2-1 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, only to return there in midweek after Nottingham Forest claimed a 3-1 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Everton remain in real trouble after a 4-1 defeat at home against Newcastle United, whereas Southampton remain bottom of the pile and six points from safety after a 1-0 defeat at home against Bournemouth.
Here is a look at West Ham’s next four games and how they compare to those trying to avoid relegation.
