In the 31st minute of the Madrid derby, Atletico Madrid's players claimed a penalty against Casemiro for a handball, an action they protested vehemently to referee Martinez Munuera.
However, the official considered in the first instance that there was no penalty, and VAR ended up confirming his decision.
The action was captured by the cameras of 'The Day After.'
At the insistence of the rojiblancos, the referee launched an enquiry to VAR.
"There may be a hand but... in a natural position?" he asked.
At that moment, Diego Costa, who listens to everything, said that the action wasn't natural and that Casemiro didn't have his hand on his body.

After hearing the deliberations of VAR, the referee made the decision after thanking Jose (referring to the referee Gonzalez Gonzalez who analysed the play on the screens at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu) and granting the corner to Diego Simeone's men.
"The hand is down is what I've been told," he snapped at Diego Godin to put an end to the controversy.

Your comment is good. l think that those who say that there was a clear penalty and that the referee and the VAR were bought by RMA are supporting the teams ( particularly ATM and Barça) who are the RMA 's rivals. They put aside the good and wise analysis of the fact and follow their passion.
