The most emotional and saddest moments in football history ; There are many to name a few, 1. Gerrard slip against Chelsea that cost them the title. Retirement of the veterans Totti and Xavi two players who gave their heart and soul to their clubs. 2. Atletico Madrid missing again on the UCL win against neighbours Real. (Could t watch Torres ) 3. Death of Bradley Lowery, the ardent fan of Sunderland who lost to Cancer and was loved by all specially by Jermaine Defoe 4. Argentina losing the final of the Copa America . 5. Iker Cassilas being told to leave the club by Perez , really broke the β£ 6. The sack of Claudio Raneiri by Leicester after the greatest story in the history of the Epl.

There are many.As a fan of Argentina the 2014 world cup is the one for me.Not only Messi but the whole Argentina with the coach Sabella probarbly deserved it.And they early had it with three big chances miss. But other then that all the mentioned ones by others here like Ronaldo s injury,Brazil losing 7-1(tho I wasn t heartbroken but I can understand),Neymar s injury in 2014 and the rest with some I probarbly didn t know about earliar. But the given one in the article was also very heart breaking. As in the 2006 world cup the name 'Zidane' was all over while the tournament was running. But atlast what happend to him was never acceptable. He got in a unproffessional situation and reacted in a unproffessional way.All that resulted a red only for hi, not for the defender who abused. He probarbly deserved it.Just lkke him Messi and Cryff didn t get the cup.Where Cryff had a beautiful story as well but in his life some criminals tried to kidnap him and his family and threatened him to not play. And he didn t play a world cup after living a miserable life after that. All in all some indivisuals deserved the tittle of World Champion. But at times their fate, some bad people and a good team took away what they deserved.

3 things, when Brazil lost 7 to 1 against Germany in which was pretty embarrassing because the World Cup took place in Brazil too 2nd thing was when Brazil was at the point of winning the World Cup but unfortunately lost 2-1 against Uruguay in the first World Cup in the 1930 And finally I think the saddest moment was the boy Bradley Lowery lost the battle against cancer but fortunately he got to meet his favorite team, Sunderland and the opposing team Chelsea

26th June 2003, Cameroon vs Colombia, 73rd minutes of play, the game is halted bc a Cameroonian player is down, Marc Vivien Foe was never to get up again as he saw his country qualify for the finals against France in that year's FIFA CONFEDERATIONS CUP. The images remain till this day as the doctors struggled to reanimate a lifeless Foe right in the pitch! And the news was confirmed minutes after the game that Marc Vivien Foe was no more...right in the eyes of the football world. No wonder during the finals that Cameroon eventually lost to France 0-1, a special hommage was paid by both teams as they all posed with an effigy of the star while the Cameroon team did their warm up in the n17 shirt. Today no one puts on n17 in Cameroon national team.

In 1992 during the war in former Yugoslavia, just a week after International Olympic Commitee lifted the ban to Serbia to take part in Summer Olympic Games, in the midfle of the forest in improvized football pitch near the town of Suva Reka in Kosovo two fooball teams were ready to start the Kosovo Cup match. FC Liria (Freedom) from Prizren and FC Dukagjina from Klina. It was the time when Serbian regime with the force of tanks and military planes clossed all schools and sports facilities for Kosovo majority population, ethnic Albanians. As the natch was about to kickoff, suddenly several armoured vehicles of Serbian police surrounded the field with 50-60 heavily armed special forces. They enered the pitch, and at the gunpoits they started to beat extreme monstruozity the coaches, trainers and players. No one could do nothing. Than they grabed one person who had a camera and broke the camera on his head, the giy was bleeding heavilly, fortunately the crowd manged to take him away in total mess and sent him to private clinic for treatment. One of the coaches, old gentleman from Prizren suffered broken skull and he is still suffering from that day i April 1992. And Serbia was allowed to play sports in Barcelona Olympics...Unfortunatelly I don 't have any picture from that event but lateron I will reply with a other picture of Kosovo players tsking shower after such games in the time we were not allowed to play in our own hometowns in our own sport facilities by Serbian regime.

Ghana vs Uruguay in 2010 world cup. Ghana's dream run ended with a hand ball save from Suarez. He got a red card for it. But Ghana was not able to use the penalty they got. Felt very sad for Ghana...
