Where does Brahim Diaz play? Who will he fight for a position at Real Madrid?

The name of Brahim Diaz, Real Madrid's next signing, may not be one that everyone is familiar with.

Those who still don't know him will surely ask when they see the front cover of MARCA and his name on it: 'Where does Diaz play? Who will he be fighting with for a position at Real Madrid?'

The answer is simple, easy and accurate: He can play in midfield or attack, and he will compete with any attacking player in the squad.

Can he play out wide? He can, and he can also play on either flank because his touch of the ball is very impressive with either foot.

That is something that Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio, Gareth Bale and Vinicius Junior do not possess and it creates further competition for them.

Vinicius is asking for more minutes and matches; Isco is awaiting his chance to return to the line-up; Asensio isn't making the most of his substitute appearances; and Lucas has become a regular with Solari in charge.

To that mix you are adding another player in January who is desperate for regular playing time and has a hunger to prove himself.

With his arrival, Madrid will certainly have greater competition within the ranks.

It is Diaz's turn to start the year showing that he deserves to play and if he does well, he will certainly have minutes in the shark tank that is the Madrid attack.
