Pele was playing with milk men and farmers. No doubt football is more tactical now than it was in Pele's days. Most people that choose Pele never even watched him but because of the fables and tales they have heard about him they will go with him. I respect Pele for what he has done and achieved in the game, but no doubt, I'll still rate my king CR7 higher than Pele.

Ronaldo played against tougher oppositions. His record is more valid than playing for New York Cosmos and scoring like a million goals. I dont think Ronaldo is the best ever but I think it's safe to say hes defo better than Pele and if he played with that Brazil team he would have been revered as 1 of the best in history.... Pele achieved a lot but hes an example of not being fooled by awards, hes outside top 5 for me. Maradona and even his own teammate Garrincha were better.
