Lamp has goals yes but Stevie G gives versatility on pitch goals, defence, assist, passes, free kicks, etc as a coach I will go for Gerrard and I know most of u will go for him no wonder mourinho begged him to o join him @ Chelsea even @ Madrid he made him his number 1 priority.

There was a time without any doubt England National team had two of the best Midfielders in the world. They both had a nice football career. Steven Gerrard is managing at Rangers and is doing a great Job whereas Lampard was also brilliant at derby and because of Sarri leaving, So Chelsea called up there home boy lampard, that's why lampard is more praised than Steven Gerrard. It will we tough for Gerrard to come in Pl or liverpool because Klopp is doing a great job here.

He is the definition of the number 10 role.... Gerrard was great in his own way, a fantastic player and leader but he never had something about him that made him stand above other midfielders rather he was an all rounder, Frank however had the stat for highest number of goals scored as a midfielder which separated him from the rest, some might even think he was a striker....
