Only Madrid fans will say Ramos ! Everyone else knows it’s Puyol ! Puyol was great and had class too ! Ramos doesn’t have class at all ! He dives, spits, abuses all the time and is almost all the time on the receiving end against everyone! Specially he is Messi’s personal Bit** ! 🤗

When Spain had Ramos Puyol and Pique, the CBs were Puyol and Pique. Ramos played fullback. Ramos got the chance only when Puyol retired. Hope that answers the question.

Both are great leaders, they marshalled Barcelona's and real madrid's defences robustly for club and done likewise for Spain. Ramos has scored far more goals than him and won more UCL (4 compared to puyol's 3) and scored some important goals too. It's hard to choose

Puyol was a warrior and leader..winning every tackle he could . blocking all types of shots..was also good in heading... Ramos has everything Puyol had leadership warrior power headers..winning mentality he never gives up..he goes to CF position in case his team needs a goal badly and scores..yes he's the master of dark arts but all of that is because he ready to do anything to win...Ramos is better for me he has better quality on the ball better passes

I love puyol as a legend but Ramos get what puyol didn't get, rescue the team when they are down and hopeless, playing dirty and receive cards for the team to get out of danger, puyol played football when defender need to focus only on defense and Ramos is nowadays defender who needs to support the attacks when needed, If I can have both in a team then team will be the best.

Puyol cos he got maturity.I've never seen him fighting or insulting and he's an example of a captain . Ramos is good but he's very wicket and lack the spirit of sportsmanship

We've seen the end of puyol's career and we know how it looks like, but Ramos to be compared to puyol, and has won everything puyol won and even more, I'll go for Ramos cause he does most things better than puyol. including red cards.
