I don't mind Mbappe winning it ahead of Messi. Or even Benzema. Or Ronaldo if you like, just to give his fans sth to dig at Messi with. Their "rigged WC" is just way too pointless, it's not enough. I mean nobody cares if it was rigged or not. If you ask me, I would tell you that they rig it again so that Messi has 2. And wished that they has rigged it in 2014 when Argentina lost to Germany in the final... Messi has won it all. He would retire 2day, and it would still take a 100yrs to beat his records.
