We have passed the halfway mark of the 2018/19 season of the Premier League and as always its been entertaining as ever. This entertainment is brought by the goals scored in every match, but the creators of those goals are also very important. The playmakers control the flow of the team's offensive play and are involved in almost every passing move that leads to a team's goal.
Their vision, creativity, technical ability on the ball and dribbling skills are what sets them aside from most players. This season in the Premier League we have seen some fine solo goals and some brilliant team goals. Their have been some players this season who have lit the Premier League with their creativity and here we look at some of those players.
Here are the 3 best playmakers in Premier League so farthis season:
1. Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
The little Belgian beast has been a player on song this season. He has been unplayable at times under Sarri's attacking philosophy and is in no mood of stopping. Sarri has played Hazard in two positions primarily. He has been playing wide left and as a false nine through the middle.
Hazard has been creating chances for fun as he has been involved in 20 goals so far this season. With half of the season still to go, if Chelsea manage to keep the Belgian fit, they have a huge chance ending the season in a Champions League spot.
In terms of stats this season, Hazard has scored 10 goals and made further 10 with a passing accuracy of 83%. He has completed 62 of his dribbles and given a total of 12 crosses. He has been involved in a goal in almost every match (91.15) on average.
2. Paul Pogba (Man Utd)
Paul has been Manchester United's main man this season and is slowly turning into the midfielder that United bought from Juventus. He has come into his own after Ole took charge of United.
He has been involved in every goal that United have scored in the last four matches as Ole has given him the license to go forward as he has a free role while Matic and Herrera sit deep. Pogba has looked unstoppable in the number 10 role so far and has to continue his form if United are to get into the top 4.
In terms of stats this season, Paul has scored 7 and made a further 7 with a passing accuracy of 84%. He has completed 38 of his dribbles and given a total of 17 crosses. Paul has been involved in the most goals for a central midfielder in Europe.
3. Bernardo Silva (Man City)
Bernardo has been a player who has come into his own this season. With Manchester City's creator in chief Kevin De Bruyne out for the first half of the season, it was time for someone to step up and Silva has done just that.
He has been a pivot of City's attack this season and has 72 touches per game. With David Silva and Fernandinho, he forms a formidable trio for City who have to continue their form this season if they are to pip Liverpool for the Premier League title.
In terms of stats this season, Silva has scored 5 and made a further 6 with a passing accuracy of 87%. He has completed 22 of his dribbles and banged in a total of 40 crosses. He has been involved in a goal in every 3 matches for City this season.

1. Hazard - Contributed to like 20 or more goals. No more needs to be said. 2. Silva - Has turned up more than Pogba has though Pogba overall is still the better player but this is strictly from a beginning of the season perspective. 3. Pogba - Has the ability but has only turned up to 4 games so far. This question needs to be asked again at the end of the season cos he's better than Silva but for now Silva has done more overall. Feel free to disagree if you wish and the people voting Pogba clearly didn't understand the question and read it as overall rather than this season otherwise Silva wouldn't even be a choice over guys like KDB etc. Could also just be United fans or Pogba fans voting as this app does have a lot of bias users.... from a neutral perspective Pogba hasn't done enough to be the 2nd most voted...

I am not a Chelsea fan neither do i support them in any way. in fact i always want them to lose because i was born Manchester United, my blood is Red and i will be Manchester United forever but the truth must be told. The headline says playmaker so far and looking at the chances created that have lead to a goal and the dribbles, Hazard was head and shoulder above them all, Pogba would have been the man hard it been he has been playing the way he is playing now from the beginning of the season, 7 goals and 7 assists can't be compared to 10 goals and 10 assists let alone the ricks of dribbling pass opponents. so in honest truth Hazard deserved the honor.

A great talent misunderstood by many and underestimated by everyone .. a great player to play football and prove the value of his class and his talent goes through mega and serious challenges he puts on himself .... it's easy to play football with Messi Suarez, Benzema, Aguero, Hazard and so on ... Which big footballer would go to football with Austin, S Davis, Romeu, Lemina and many others ... I tell you none of the aforementioned candidates for awarding the prizes to teams that have the budget of the eleven it is worth 300 million euros, not all of them would go, those playmates would be indifferent to it. fans would just play anywhere else except where they play and we would not even know them ... the big footballers are injured they show off in teams that the bets are small like D Ings of Southampton

Well for me the choice would be Bernardo Silva he is surely one of my favourite Midfielder and seeing him playing is a delight TBH he was one of the reason why we lost against City he is a force to reckon with .......And is surely the most underrated player the way he play is just phenomenal...... Already he has scored 5 goals ,assisted 6 and has a passing accuracy of 87%....... He is probably the best MIDFIELDER for me in the PL right now and he took full advantage of the absence of KDB he took full advantage and his chemistry with David and Fernandinho is sublime ..... I Support Bernardo ๐๐
