Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has explained the elaborate hand gestures in his distinctive goal celebrations.
Whereas Sadio Mane has been accused of copying Reds team-mate Roberto Firmino's celebrations and Mohamed Salah often marks his goals by performing sujood, the Islamic act of prostration, Wijnaldum has been producing what appears to be a carefully choreographed routine.
The Dutchman told the club's website : “To be fair, I just copied it, I stole it from a rapper called Young MA!
“I saw her doing it in a video clip and I was like, 'That's really nice so I'm going to do that when I score.'
“[But] I want to do it more like Firmino because he has loads of celebrations, so hopefully I can do loads because that means that you score a lot.
“Let's hope that I can do more, but that one I stole from Young MA - so I hope she's not mad about it."
Wijnaldum, who hit a hat-trick while on international duty for the Netherlands against Estonia in November, has scored five goals for Liverpool so far this term.
He needs just one more strike to match his best seasonal total for the Reds set during his debut campaign at Anfield in 2016/17.
