The England international has 18 months left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane is open to signing a new deal at the London club amid reported interest from Manchester United, reports The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The England international has 18 months left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and no talks have taken place since August 2021 after a move to United’s rivals Manchester City failed to materialise.
He was City’s main target and he pushed for a move, but without success. Erling Haaland was then signed by City and Kane has no longer been linked with a move to the Etihad.
Reports in the UK suggest that United have been monitoring the 29-year-old’s situation with the Old Trafford looking for a new No 9.
United recently signed Dutch international Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley until the end of the season, something looks like it could be just a short-term solution.
The Athletic add that Kane is eager to succeed with Spurs, however, if the parties fail to come to an agreement on a new deal, Spurs must decide whether to sell their captain this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
The other team aiming to compete with United for Kane’s services is Bayern Munich, who consider Kane as a perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski, but they failed to close a deal last summer.
Kane has 17 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions this season and is second only to goalscoring machine Haaland in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

It depends on what he wants. A trophy-less career or to have at least a medal be it FA cup medal.

Unfortunately in todays footballing world money talks more than effort on the pitch. Back in the 60s, 70s , 80s and 90s players earned their wages. And players kept mostly loyal to there teams Not like it is today, unfortunately there are some players that will only play when the right amount of money is offered.

personally I feel Tottenham had a chance to win a trophy in the days of pochittino but they were to much in a hurry and made bad signings which did not improve the club after going down to Liverpool in the final. if they are to win something then they should do what Argentina did build a team around Kane.

I've been a spurs fan since 1981 and as far as I'm concern I think Harry Kane should stick with tottenham, don't listen to this foolishness about not winning titles and all that , the man is 29 yrs old and he has nothing to prove that he's one of the best strikers in the world Stay at spurs and finish what u have started
