Willian had football fans in stitches on Wednesday night when he confusedly walked out of the tunnel during the half-time interval in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Tottenham.
The Brazilian looked spellbound as he made his way up the steps to return to the Stamford Bridge substitutes bench.
Football fans took to Twitter to poke fun at the bewildered Chelsea star.
One person tweeted: 'Willian definitely left the iron on ...'
While another fan posted: 'Willian has absolutely no idea where he is.'
One person humorously commented that the 30-year-old was having 'flashbacks of playing against Manchester City' in the 6-0 thrashing at the Etihad Stadium in February.
Willian was introduced just three minutes after Pedro had given the lead at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea condemned Tottenham to their second consecutive defeat.
The Brazilian was involved in another bizarre incident as he allowed Kieran Trippier's calamitous backpass to roll into the net with six minutes remaining.
The victory leaves Chelsea sixth in the Premier League on 55 points, although they have a game in hand over all five teams above them in the table.

I think that he was worried about the team and definitely about the blowout against City. That game was very very very important to win because a lost or even a draw would of send us deep below the top four

Served Chelsea very well in all those years, probably time has come to leave, but if hazard is leaving, I am in favour of him staying and mentoring both CHO and Pulisic.

Chelsea has a clear rule for only 12months extension after a player turns 30. CFC should sell him when he is worth, which is now.

Chelsea should sell him asap and give Hudson-odoi a chance to develop

The managers at Chelsea has allowed the club to be open to such derogatory bids by failing to plan. As I see it, Chelsea must make contingency plans for Hazard move to RM, if it happens. Chelsea needs ensure they have two experienced wingers (Willian and Pedro) to support Callum Hudson-Odoi (CHO), Christian Pulisic, Izzy Brown, and Charly Musonda over the next 2 seasons. Thus, Chelsea needs to ensure that Willian and Pedro are under contract for at least two more seasons. Brown and Musonda would be decent squad players. The funds from Hazard, Morata, and Bakayoko transfers should be used to bring in 24 to 26 year-old striker (Icardi) to join HiguaΓn and Abraham.
