Florian Wirtz has shut down any rumours of Liverpool players turning against manager Arne Slot ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
The pressure has been increasing on Slot at Anfield, especially after their 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday.
The Reds' last hope of winning silverware this season comes in the Champions League, though they face a stern test against the reigning champions.
PSG are unbeaten in their last seven knockout stage matches in the Champions League (W6 D1) and could equal the longest run by a French side in the competition (eight by Lyon between April 2004 and March 2006).
Despite Liverpool's struggles this season, Wirtz insisted the players have not lost faith in Slot.
"Yes, of course. We are believing in the manager," said the German playmaker.
"The team should believe in the manager because they won the league last season.
"We've had a lot of good games this season. We wanted it to be better, but it is what it is now, and we still have things to play for.
"Everything I can say to that is we believe in the manager and will try to give our best tomorrow."
PSG and Liverpool have met on six previous occasions in European competition, with both sides registering three wins each.
Their most recent meetings came in the Champions League last season, where both won 1-0 away from home in the round of 16, before the Parisians won a penalty shootout at Anfield to progress (4-1).
Although Liverpool are also in a top-four battle in the Premier League, Slot says they cannot afford to look past PSG.
"I don't think so far ahead, especially when you play Paris Saint-Germain. They're champions of Europe – fully deserved," said Slot.
"Kept the team together, and usually, the longer you keep a team together, the better they become. If that is even possible because they were so impressive last season.
"I watched a lot of games of them and they are maybe even more impressive; there are even more rotations. They are still a very good team, but details can decide a lot."

Yes but not the fans. He needs to go and bring Luis Enrique, the sort of player Liverpool bought , will play well under him.

Yeah... believe with him somewhere else outside LFC, and take Ekitike, Kerkez and Frimpong with you. In Klopp and Klopp's team we believed and still believe.
That's a bit harsh, need 2 get rid of slot but got class team just need a system what works it's disjointed
