Wolves are expected to sell winger Daniel Podence after he stayed behind from their Portugal camp to train at their Compton Park training ground.
The squad have travelled to the Algarve to take part in a warm weather training camp after Julen Lopetegui's side had to cancel their planned tour to South Korea due to logistical and financial concerns.
But the Portuguese winger has remained at home, raising speculation over his future at the club - with his contract also set to expire in 2024.
The 27-year-old joined the midlands outfit in 2020 in a £19million transfer from Olympiacos.
He has since gone on to score 16 goals in 105 appearances across all competitions for Wolves, notably featuring in 32 of their 38 Premier League games last season, while scoring six goals.
Podence controversially escaped a red card in Wolves' game against Nottingham Forest back in April after he was accused of spitting at Brennan Johnson.
He was subsequently charged by the FA, but that allegation was found to be 'not proven' and the Portuguese winger escaped any retrospective action.
Meanwhile, Luton are also in talks to sign Wolves left wing-back Ryan Giles for £5million.
Middlesbrough had also been interested in signing the 23-year-old after the Wolves academy graduate impressed while on loan at the north-eastern side last season.
Hatters boss, Rob Edwards, who has spent some time working within the Wolves setup, also knows the young defender well.
Unlike Podence, Giles has travelled with the rest of the Wolves squad to their Portugal training camp.
In the last few years, he has spent time out on loan at Cardiff, Blackburn and Rotherham, making just one senior appearance for Lopetegui's side in his career.
Last season, he started in all 43 Championship games, returning 11 assists for Boro.
And with his contract set to expire in 2025, the Wolves boss is set to decide on whether Giles could be part of his plans for the coming season.
So far during the transfer window, Wolves have re-signed Matt Doherty after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired and are also in talks to sign Aaron Cresswell on a £2.5m transfer from West Ham.
