Wolves complete the signing of highly-rated Angers wingback Rayan Ait-Nouri

Wolves have completed their sixth signing of the summer with young wing back Rayan Ait-Nouri joining the Premier League club on a season long loan from Angers.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been keen to evolve his side, with the Portuguese looking to improve on back-to-back seventh placed finishes and break into the Premier League's top six.

And Ait-Nouri joins Fabio Silva, Ki-Jana Hoever, Vitinha, Nelson Semedo and Marcal through the door at Molineux, with the 19-year-old signing initially on a season long loan deal with the option to buy for £20m.

The wingback has expressed his delight in moving to Wolverhampton.

'I'd just like to say how immensely proud and happy I am right now, and I'm thrilled to be joining this club,' Ait-Nouri said to the club website.

'I'm here to try and show everyone here exactly what I'm capable of, the manager, my teammates and the supporters. I hope I can have a great season here.

'I'm really excited to be setting out on this new adventure with Wolverhampton.

'It's a massive club, a big club and I always had it very clear in my mind that I wanted to come to Wolves and so I'm very happy.

'I'll be aiming to settle into the club as quickly as I can, and with the help of my teammates, get in the best shape I can, and to try and play as many games as I can in the Premier League, because it's a league you dream about playing in.'

The youngster, who reportedly rejected Valencia to join the Black Country club, said boss Nuno was integral in convincing him to move to the Premier League.

'I can't wait to get started working and training with my new coach, I've been able to have a chat with him a bit,' he added.

'He's shown he has confidence in me, and he is a very endearing character.

'I get the impression that he believes in me so it's now down to me to repay all that trust he has shown in me.'

The Molineux outfit have recruited Champions League experienced players in Semedo and Marcal from Barcelona and Lyon respectively, but are also looking to invest in players with potential to develop into stars.

The likes of Ait-Nouri Silva, Hoever and Vitinha are seen as young players with the capabilities of exploding into massive talents, and Wolves are hopeful that the youngsters can flourish in a similar manner to Adama Traore and Ruben Neves.

Meanwhile, left wingback Ruben Vinagre is expected to leave the club to join Greek side Olympiacos on a season long loan deal, with an option to buy for £22.5m.

'I can confirm Vinagre is going to join Olympiacos. If it's not done it's almost done, that's why he wasn't in the squad,' Nuno said following Wolves' 1-0 win over Fulham on Sunday.
