Beijing Time (CEST) May 22, Wolves officially announced that the club has extended midfielder Andre's contract until 2030, with an option for a further year.
Official announcement
Andre has signed a new four-year contract with Wolves, confirming his stay at the club.
The popular midfielder has played 74 games for Wolves in the past two seasons. His new contract expires in 2030, with an option to extend for another year, and he will be involved in the team's rebuilding efforts for the Championship next season.
24-year-old Andre joined Wolves from Fluminense in August 2024, having spent his entire career there previously. He had a standout first season in the Premier League.
In his debut season, he was twice voted Fans' Player of the Month, bringing solid defense and delicate ball control to the midfield, and was a key player in the team's successful relegation survival.
The team has had a difficult season, confirmed relegated last month, but Andre's form has remained stable. His first goal in a Wolves shirt was a dramatic injury-time winner against Liverpool at Molineux in March.
The Brazilian international has been called up to the national team 8 times during his spell in the West Midlands. He has secured his future early and will play for Wolves in the Championship, aiming to achieve promotion back to the Premier League next season.
