Raheem Sterling allegedly had a hip flask thrown at him after scoring for Manchester City during their Premier League clash with Wolves at Molineux.
The incident happened in the 24th minute after the visitors were controversially awarded a penalty by VAR which Sterling missed, before Wolves were ruled to have encroached, only for the attacker to miss again but score the rebound.
Amind the celebrations, referee Martin Atkinson picked up a metal flask from the pitch and handed it to a pitchside official.
