Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ruben Neves has shown how much the club means to him as he revealed the outline of a wolf tattoo on his left arm.

The Portuguese star has enjoyed a brilliant start to life at Molineux since joining in 2017 having helped Wolves reach the Premier League this summer.

Neves was one of the club's stand-out performers in their title-winning Championship season which caught the eye of  Europe's biggest clubs.

Italian champions Juventus have reportedly been eyeing up a move for the 21-year-old in a move in January that would see him link up with compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.

Manchester City also showed an interest in the midfield maestro before Wolves slapped a £110million price tag on their prized asset.

However, his latest tattoo shows Neves' commitment to Wolves as he posed shirtless with an outline of the piece on his left bicep.

Northern Irish tattoo artist Willy Grattan  proudly presented his unfinished work on Twitter on Monday with the caption, 'Ruben Neves in the hot seat today'.

Wolves fans  flocked to social media to express their delight at Neves' latest bit of work.

One fan commented, 'once a wolf, always a wolf' while another supporter couldn't wait to see the finished piece.

Neves isn't the first Wolves player who has had his ink done by the award-winning artist with the club's Brazilian striker Leo Bonatini originally getting a chest tattoo off Willy G in April earlier this year.

Neves is currently under contract at Wolves until 2023.
