Xavi does a Guardiola: Barcelona run riot at the Bernabeu

Black cannot be worn in a Clasico. It had been said before the game, but the designers messed up and Real Madrid were dressed for a funeral as they lost 4-0 at home to Barcelona in Sunday's LaLiga SantanderClasico at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Xavi Hernandez's side were irresistible at times, and no Clasico had gone this way since Pep Guardiola left Barcelona. Now, Los Blancos are waiting for Kylian Mbappe.

Barcelona went for it, as they always do when they smell blood at the Bernabeu, and it could easily have been 7-1. Vinicius Junior missed a big chance, but that was about it.

Barcelona showed real signs of improvement, and had done before this weekend, but they needed a performance against Real Madrid to really drive that home. They have their style back, and it's the one that Xavi executed so well under Guardiola.
