There are 9 days left until the Ballon d'Or ceremony. As the reigning champion, Dembele is on the 30-man shortlist and has a chance to win it for the second consecutive time. After Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 victory over Strasbourg in Ligue 1, teammate Zabarnyi stated in a mixed zone interview that he hopes to see his teammate lift the Ballon d'Or.
"Obviously, yes. We have many players in our team who deserve this award, and Dembele is one of them. So I really hope to see one of our players win the Ballon d'Or because they deserve it."

if they give this Balloon d'or because of world cup , then the world should know players will not play well in their respective clubs in every world cup seasons.... they will be useless and lazy and then play well in the world cup to win the Balloon d'or.... Dembele is the best player in the world now... Both club and world cup Dembele did very well...
