Zinchenko has issued an apology to Manchester City supporters following his red card against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The City left-back was sent off in the second half after picking up two yellow cards.
Spurs went on to claim all three points from then on, with goals from Steven Bergwijn and Heung-Min Son proving decisive.
Having dominated the first half, missing a penalty through Ilkay Gundogan and spurning several guilt-edged chances to take the lead, Zinchenko's dismissal proved to be a turning point in the match.
Zinchenko then released a message to City supporters on his Instagram account, apologising for the red card and vowing to come back stronger from the experience.
He wrote: "I would like to do apologize to the team and all City's fans. No doubts it’s completely on me.
"It’s gonna be a very good lesson and the only what can I promise you that I’m going to work harder than ever before Man City.
