Zlatan Ibrahimovic's son Vincent has been named in a boot camp for the Sweden Under 15s.
The 15-year-old is one of 66 young hopefuls selected for the December training centre.
Vincent Ibrahimovic is a central midfielder in AC Milan's youth academy but this is his first Sweden call-up, as per Sportbladet.
Under 15s head coach Axel Kjall praised the youngster's ability but former senior Sweden manager Janne Andersson did quickly shut down comparisons with his father.
Kjall said: 'Based on the matches I have seen on video, he is a central midfielder who is good in his passing game, good at orienting himself on the pitch and also a good finisher.
'I understand that there will be an uproar around the selection of Vincent Ibrahimovic. His father is one of the best Swedish players of all time and now it's the first time Vincent Ibrahimovic is involved.'
Andersson, who took Sweden to the 2018 World Cup quarter-finals, said: 'I have met him, but I have not seen him play. So therefore I cannot rate him. We shouldn't make too big comparisons between them, I think, it's not really fair. It's obviously very exciting.'
He is not the only footballing child of Zlatan, as he has an older brother, Maximilian, who plays for AC Milan's Under 18s.
Their father led a legendary football career, scoring more than 500 goals for teams such as Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, Inter Milan, and Manchester United.
He scored 62 goals for Sweden before retiring from international football in 2015. He sensationally came out of that retirement in 2021 but did not score for his country again.
