Zola takes aim at Man Utd over Hojlund: He is driving everyone crazy!

Hojlund scored both goals as Napoli secured a 2-0 away win over Cremonese on Sunday afternoon. The Dane continues to show each week United why they should never have sold him each and every week as he chases down the title with the Italian giants.

Hojlund joined ex-United star Scott McTominay at the club on a temporary deal this summer, a year after the Scottish midfielder won the Serie A player of the year award.

Both have shone away from the Red Devils, and Zola spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about how the side will be regretting both players leave in what was a reckless decision.

“It’s complicated, almost impossible. I’d say Pio Esposito and Scamacca; they are gifts for the national team. Hojlund is driving everyone crazy, even people at Manchester United. After McTominay left because of Ten Hag’s reckless decisions, they let go of a striker like that.

“There’s also Lautaro Martinez or Marcus Thuram. Or even Cristian Chivu himself, or Antonio Conte, who could make history by winning two consecutive titles at Napoli.”

Hojlund's match-winning double takes his league tally for the season to six in 12 appearances for Napoli and he has surpassed his league goal record for United last term in 20 fewer matches.

United’s troubles in attack have continued this season as new signings such as Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko fail to make an impact.
