So ISL (Indian Super League) has 11 clubs now..the I-League (which is the 2nd division officially from 2022) has 13 clubs at the moment..!!
the third division which is called I-League2 has around 16 clubs..
there are talks about bringing 2-3 new clubs...more like a franchise based...!!
then it will be around 15 teams in all of the first three tiers..with promotion-relegation installed..!!
but the issue here is different..not all clubs have the same amount of financial back up to exist in the league...!!

Isn't it the same everywhere 3-4 clubs have astronomical financial capabilities while the others not do much.

from 2024-25..the promotion-releagation is set to arrive in ISL, which we also want.
Last 2-3 years for EB has been the worst probably in its entire 101 years of history.
but when you say "who cares about EB?"...you've chosen a wrong phrase..we have thousands of fans following this club, keeping note of every minute details...so we care a lot..!!

1. It's apparently a club constantly the at the bottom of the list. 10th last time and this time it even got worse 12th. It's disgraceful when your legendary rivals are always in top 3, represented the nation at AFC.
2. Maybe EB should have accepted the merger rather than desperately trying to live up to it's rivals and failing miserably.
3. You are lucky that's these budding leagues doesn't really have a 2nd disvison and relegation concept like European football. Otherwise, you guys would have been playing at the 2nd division by now.
4. What do you think? Is the derby relavent anymore? I ask because there is a huge difference in talent/quality levels among the two clubs?.
