STUNNED Manchester United fans hit out after new boy Patrick Dorgu was thrown straight into the team - but OUT of position.
The Dane started at home to Leicester in the FA Cup at right-wing-back.
Yet the 20-year-old had been signed to solve United's long-running problems in defence down the opposite flank.
One viewer blasted, "WTF is going on" and another posted: Don’t think Dorgu suits it."
Old Trafford chief Ruben Amorim field three centre-backs - with Dorgu further forward on one flank and Diogo Dalot on the left.
The ex-Lecce star was rated highly for his attacking forays.
And one cynical observer wrote: "Has Dorgu set up two and scored yet? Oh, he's playing right wing back, you say?"
The young transfer-window recruit got intot he game more after the quarter-hour mark.
And he twice threatened outside the corner of the box following overlapping runs.

I would prefer this team to be the 1st 11 for Manchester united. Am sure with it we can challenge any team

U honestly don't understand football... Quenda who we just signed from Sporting is a RWB who is a left footed player... Amorim is playing a beautiful and attacking football its just that our midfielders isn't getting it right... His wing backs are opposite foots.. His RWB are left footed player and his LWB are right footed players.. Go watch his games and lineup when he was still at Sporting maybe you'll get the clear picture of what he's trying to do here at Manchester United
