‘World’s most beautiful footballer’ Markovic stunned after Ronaldo meeting

CRISTIANO RONALDO met the "world's most beautiful footballer" Ana Maria Markovic - and left her absolutely stunned.

Al-Nassr superstar Ronaldo and Markovic linked up during a sponsorship shoot that saw them switching to their gear in a small pitch.

After completing their media duties the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and the Grasshoppers ace exchanged a few high-fives.

Then the football pair performed the Manchester United legend's signature Siu celebration.

The forward shared that clip on social media as she was still in disbelief after meeting her idol.

Markovic posted the following caption on Instagram: "I can't believe it! SIIIMMM [Yes]."

The post attracted over 1million likes from the 24-year-old's 3m followers, who stormed the comments' section.

One fan wrote: "You simply love to see it."

Another commented: "Suuuuuuuu!"

A third posted: "My 2 favorite athletes."

This fan said: "CR7 And You. You are blessed. Great."

And another gushed: "Anna finally achieved her dream. But the two make a good pair."

Markovic has received plenty of inspiration from Ronaldo throughout her seven-year career.

The Portugal international's discipline has helped her seal a spot in Croatia's women's national team.

Markovic recently said: "[Luka] Modric is definitely a great role model for me. He is a world footballer and represents Croatia.

"There are many good players among the women, such as [Ramona] Bachmann. But my absolute favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo because he's just so disciplined.

"I think it's super important that you give your all in sport and have a good mindset like him."
