Barcelona are 2025/26 season La Liga champions, which is their 29th league title in their history.

Beating Real Madrid at home in the Round 35 of La Liga, Barca becomes the 2025/26 La Liga Champion, the 29th in their club history. 

After a long and grueling season, some intriguing statistics about the newly crowned La Liga champions are well worth noting:

-This is Barca's 13th La Liga Champion in the 21st century, the 2nd most across European competions just behind Bayern Munich with 19 times. 

-5 point deficit, at last a Champion: in the 1st round of El Clasico this season, Barca suffers a 1-2 loss and 5 points behind Real Madrid. Following this loss, the Blaugrana won 9 consecutive wins and reversed the result, which is the first time in 30 years in La Liga history. 

-It is the first time that Barca wins a league title via El Clasico. Historically, Real Madrid won the La Liga title from El Clasico in 1931/32 season after a 2-2 draw.

-Until Round 35, Barca remains undefeated at home in La Liga this season. With1 home match left, Barca could still persue the achievement of being invincible at home. 

-Joao Cancelo is the only player who has won four out of five major European league champions in history: Premier League(20-21, 21-22, 22-23), Bundesliga(22-23 on loan to Bayern), Serie A(18-19 for Juventus), 25-26(on loan to Barca)

-This is Rashford's first league champion in his career. After promoting to the First team of Manchester United, Rashford won FA Cup, Europa League Champion, and EFL Cup. His best achivement in league competition before this season is no.2 in 2017/18 Premier League under Manchester Unietd and Mourinho.
