Amid reports that Dallas’ AT&T Stadium has been chosen as the venue for the final of the 2026 Men’s World Cup, the tournament’s schedule is set to be announced.
During a special live broadcast this weekend, FIFA is to reveal which of the World Cup’s 16 host cities has been allocated to each of the 104 matches at the expanded, 48-team event. As well as the final venue, we’ll also find out when and where the opening game will be held, and where the three host nations - the United States, Canada and Mexico - will be playing their group-stage games.
In June 2023, FIFA announced that the following locations had been selected to stage 2026 World Cup matches: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Guadalajara, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Monterrey, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.

When is the 2026 World Cup and who has qualified?
The 23rd edition of FIFA’s global soccer tournament, the 2026 World Cup is to be played in June and July 2026. The world game’s governing body has confirmed that the final will take place on 19 July, but the date of the opening game has not been announced.
Qualification is underway in some regions, but so far only the three host countries are certain to be at the next World Cup.
