In Premier League Round 37, Manchester United lost 0-1 away to Chelsea. With that result, Rúben Amorim’s average points per match in the Premier League has dropped to just 0.92.
Since taking over as Manchester United manager in November last year, Amorim has overseen 26 Premier League matches, recording 6 wins, 6 draws, and 14 losses — totaling 24 points, or 0.92 points per match.
According to statistics, Amorim’s points-per-match record is even lower than that of Paul Jewell, who averaged 0.94 points per Premier League match. Jewell managed 138 Premier League games, earning 130 points in total. He famously endured a 24-game winless run with Derby County in the 2007–08 season, during which the team finished with only 11 points.

People talking here shows that many don't understand football at all. When analysing football, put sentiments and emotions aside. Is Amorim really a failure? I don't think so. Yes the results may not be coming in right now but check out the following: 1. He inherited a very dysfunctional team. 2. He's introducing a new tactics and pattern which the current players in the squad are nowhere near good enough for. 3. If he tries to adapt to another system and get results, United board will refuse to buy new players that will suit his system and style. 4. So he needs to make the board see it that these crop of players are nowhere near good enough for United so that they can enter the market and give him what he wants. 5. One of the mistakes some coaches make is to adapt to what is available. Immediately You do that, the board won't listen to your request of the kind of players you want. That's exactly what is happening to Arteta. 6. Pep will enter your club and anyone who doesn't suit his system and methods, even if he is the best player of the team, he will sell You and get what he wants. He goes for results not adaptability. 7. You can only judge Amorim by next season AFTER HE HAS BEEN GIVEN THE PLAYERS HE REQUESTED FOR!
