Sergio Ramos will end his career with Real Madrid after seeing attempts to move to China on a mega-money contract fail recently.
That want saw the Italians spend big-money on his ex-Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo 12 months ago and suggestions had been that the pair could reunite at the Allianz Stadium.
But now, when asked whether Ronaldo had attempted to persuade him to join him in Turin, the Spain skipper issued a denial.
"With Cristiano Ronaldo I always had a great relationship," he told SportMediaSet.
"But I continued with Real Madrid , the market rumours - let's leave them aside.
"Has Ronaldo called me to Juventus? No, no."

I can only respect a legend like CR7 but if you're a pure footballing fan I just feel everything one does should be taken into consideration. I think what u wrote is excellent, as a Madrid fan, but I widely and honestly think Cristiano is the bigger legend cause the effect of a lack of a great player showed this season,
A) Loyalty is the most important thing and you wouldn't leave a club only because its president doesn't appreciate you enough. B) If this was Real Madrid 3 years ago and Ronaldo left then they wouldn't have struggled, it was the end of an era and many players had their best last season and others were exhausted after the world cup C) Bale Asensio Modric had amazing Seasons and all of them were abismal this season. D) This was coming from a long time. They didn't spend much for 3 Summers and we're delaying the inevitable. E) Ronaldo is one of the greatest goalscorers the game has ever seen but he didn't love Real Madrid like Ramos and he played there for 9 years unlike 18 years with Messi and 11 and counting with Ramos. Ronaldo was not a team player at Real which has changed since he moved to Juventus. Ramos bleeds Real while Ronaldo wasn't loyal to United nor Real and at 34 and going on forward Juventus is the best he can get so he'll probably be loyal to them

Van Dijk is currently better than Ramos yes, because Ramos will retire in a couple seasons. He’s already out of his prime but has won the best trophies and is a decorated player all around. However you have to admit that it was impossible for Xavi, iniesta, Ramos and everyone else to win a ballon d’or during Messi and Ronaldo’s era. It was impossible. Like you said though the criteria has changed, but I don’t doubt that if Messi and Ronaldo were a couple years younger and in their primes, people like Van Dijk or any other person, would NOT win it.

I'm a die hard BARCELONA fan but maybe because I'm an international fan I never hated Real Madrid and I enjoyed the rivalry infact it made up for intense exciting matches if anything. I have watched Real Madrid week in week out for a decade and I personally loved a lot of players especially Marcelo Isco Etc but I always hated Ramos till I understood how much he loved Real and that he'd give his everything and even commit crimes to defend his team.
