James had a good month and beat out Serge Gnabry for the honour.
Whenever James Rodríguez thinks back to March 2019, he'll surely instantly remember his hat trick in the 6-0 win over FSV Mainz 05. It was his first hat trick in a European professional league and as a souvenir he even took the match ball home with him. In addition, he scored a goal in the 5-1 victory in Mönchengladbach and the 27-year-old also got onto the scoresheet in the 6-0 win over Wolfsburg.
This delighted the FC Bayern fans, who voted the record champions' number eleven their Player of the Month for March. The attacking midfielder received more than half of all votes cast (51%), leaving Serge Gnabry (29%) and Robert Lewandowski (5%) in second and third place respectively.

There are many Bayern "fans" who think Müller is past it and should leave the club. They usually make no sense but are quite large in number

I'm not sure that's entirely true. Last season he scored against Real Madrid and was great in that match. The problem on Wednesday was that he was essentially deployed as a defensive midfielder in a too defensive and rigid midfield. It's hard to really make an impact when the only attacking tactic is to farm the ball out to the wings and hope to get the ball to Lewandowski.

What's so bananas is that when they play together, that's when Bayern are at their best.

to be fair to them he had a horrible run of form for a season or two ( not bad enough to kick him out though). However i can't understand those who still hate on him this season

very likeable guy but his performance has been really going downhill the last few years, starting to get better under kovac but he really was quite atrocious for a good amount of time

If you ignore his stats, his good games, important passes and offend him - no. If you bring plausible arguments where they fit (yes, today he wasn't that great for example) and without to offend him - yeah

The only big match he didn’t show up in was against Liverpool this year thanks to Kovac’s genius idea to play 3 DMs. He was literally the best player (alongside Kimmich) in the seminfinal against Real last year? Ribery was great there aswell. Sadly he can't score a goal This is correct

Great? He must be the new Schweinsteiger or Kroos. His no leader, every third pass is a failed chip, he sometimes has no ambition to track back and get the ball back. He is very skilled offensively and on a good day he is world class but he just can't be consistent.

It’s like people haven’t seen him since the World Cup. The guy scored over 30 goals with Madrid it’s not like he’s some useless scrub.

He was bad against Liverpool but so was everyone else. He’s shown up in several big games, and that’s not even counting his World Cup performances.

Probably his best match for bayern The 6-0 against Dortmund last year was slightly better imo despite the hattrick in this game
