Leon Goretzka has expressed himself in the Bayern training camp on BVB's slip in Bundesliga title race last season.
Players from Dortmund have recently made several claims that they will fight for Bundesliga champions this season.
"I do not think that will change anything for us," says Leon Goretzka. "Honestly, I think it's good, I thought it was a bit silly last year, nine points ahead, that they still do not want to be champions."
Bayern eventually closed the gap on Dortmund and left them only the runner-up.
"But I believe," Goretzka continues, "with the squad they have now, the claims are justified and yet I also liked that it was said that the championship is only about Bayern."
"We are defending champion and of course will do everything to confirm that."
