AC Milan in talks with Chelsea over Ziyech transfer despite eyeing De Ketelaere

CHELSEA are in talks with AC Milan over the sale of Hakim Ziyech, according to reports.

The Blues are open to selling the Moroccan with Thomas Tuchel close to sealing deal for Raheem Sterling.

Ziyech, 29, handed in a transfer request at the end of last month after starting just eight Premier League games last season.

The winger is keen on joining AC Milan according to Fabrizio Romano and will hope the talks between the clubs are positive.

Milan also remain interested in Ziyech despite reportedly planning a bid for Club Brugge star Charles de Ketelaere.

Ziyech's contract runs until 2025 and Chelsea are reported as being keener on a loan deal with an option to buy rather than a permanent sale this summer.

Romelu Lukaku has already made the switch from London to Milan, joining Inter, while Thomas Tuchel and the Chelsea hierarchy are keeping tabs on a number of forward players.

One of those is Sterling who has agreed personal terms with the Blues ahead of a £50million move from Manchester City.

Chelsea are also believed to be preparing a £14m bid for Cristiano Ronaldo with the striker keen to leave Manchester United.

Ronaldo is yet to return to training as he deals with a family issue and he has now been left out of the club's pre-season tour of Australia and Thailand.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is a big fan of the Portuguese and is looking to take advantage of his unhappy situation.

But it is believed the American will first get Thomas Tuchel's approval before launching a bid for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has also been liked with Napoli, Sporting Lisbon and Bayern Munich - but the German champions have now ruled out a move for the forward.

Ronaldo still has a year left on his Old Trafford deal but is thought to be eager to leave in order to continue playing in the Champions League.
