Abraham is hopeful of returning to action against Aston Villa this week, having been sorely missed in Saturday's defeat to West Ham.
The 22-year-old, who watched from the stands as Aaron Cresswell's goal consigned Frank Lampard's side to back-to-back Premier League defeats, suffered a hip injury against Valencia last week but has made a quick recovery and could be involved on Wednesday.
Olivier Giroud made just a second League start of the season in Abraham's place against the Hammers and looked well off the pace, leaving Chelsea far less of a threat going forward.
