Speaking in an interview with AS, Achraf Hakimi’s (24) agent, Alejandro Camaño, has cast doubt on the player’s future at Paris Saint-Germain.

Hakimi has had a mixed season at PSG. Following a year of adaptation during the 2021/22 season, the Moroccan international began the last campaign in scintillating form, however, those performances weren’t replicated. Consequently, L’Équipe reported in May that PSG were open to selling the former Real Madrid right-back this summer. The French publication reported that a considerable offer for Hakimi wouldn’t be batted away.

Now, the player’s agent Camaño has spoken about the Moroccan’s interview in an interview transcribed by L’Équipe. PSG are expected to name Luis Enrique as Christophe Galtier’s replacement in the dugout at the Parc des Princes, despite the departure of the latter not yet being formalised.

Once Enrique arrives, as is expected, talks over Hakimi’s future will take place, according to Camaño. “When PSG has a new manager, we will talk about the project. We will see. It is one of the best clubs in the world. We’re waiting for things to stabilise and we will see,” he said. Hakimi’s contract with Les Parisiens runs until 2026.
