The move by the PSG player’s mother has been criticised by the agent of Moroccan international defender Achraf Hakimi.

Kylian Mbappé's mother, Fayza Lamari, has set up an agency with her son, as reported by French outlet L’Équipe earlier this month.

The move by the PSG player’s mother has been criticised by the agent of Moroccan international defender Achraf Hakimi. There were rumours linking Hakimi with a move to Lamari’s agency, however, in an interview with AS, the player’s agent, Alejandro Camaño rejected the claims and took the chance to have a go at the France captain’s mother.

“We are very surprised that just because she is the mother of an important player, she can interfere in the market,” said Camaño.

He added: “Achraf is part of the Footfeel family. He has been convinced by the project for many years and he has a personal relationship with Kylian, which we respect. Being the mother of a player isn’t enough. For me, it shows a lack of respect for the profession.

“Fayza Lamari is a business that has nothing other than Kylian Mbappé. Her importance on the market is non-existent, she has no experience, no completed deals, and no penetration into the market.”
