Adeyemi: Messi is always the best player in the world; I am working hard to learn Spanish

Two days before his first El Clásico, Barcelona's new signing Adeyemi participated in a fan Q&A session on the club's official channel. In the interview, Adeyemi discussed his expectations for El Clásico, Flick's demands of him, his favorite career goal, and how he has adapted since joining Barcelona.

Host: Hello, Barça fans! Welcome to our live Q&A session. With just a few days until El Clásico, let's meet our guest today – none other than Karim Adeyemi! Karim, welcome. How are you feeling?

Adeyemi: I'm very well, thank you.

Host: How was training today?

Adeyemi: Very good.

Host: Excellent. A very special day is approaching for you – your first Clásico. How are you feeling about it?

Adeyemi: I'm very excited right now. I really can't wait for Sunday's match. I believe everything will go smoothly.

Host: You've been performing exceptionally well this season. How have you gelled with your Barcelona teammates? It's a joy to watch you play on the field.

Adeyemi: Yes, it's really a lot of fun to play alongside such world-class teammates. It feels amazing to play here.

Host: Karim, it's a pleasure to watch you play. Alright, Barça fans, Karim will be answering your questions live. Please submit your questions in the chat. Let's begin! Alright Karim, questions are coming in. The first is from our long-time member Pelita Malaguita, a channel member for one year and two months. She asks: "Hello Karim, as a Barcelona player, what is the most important thing coach Flick has taught you so far?"

Adeyemi: I think the most important thing is that in every training session, he asks us to give our all, without holding back, and at the same time, to enjoy the environment here, to enjoy Spain, Barcelona, and the culture of Catalonia. That's the first thing he taught me.

Host: That's great, Karim, well said. You've both adapted very quickly. The next question is from Joseph Castañón, also a member for one year and two months: "What is your favorite vacation destination?"

Adeyemi: That's a tough choice. I really want to travel to Japan.

Host: You haven't been there before?

Adeyemi: I have, but not for vacation. I also like to go to Albania and Kosovo; I really enjoy the atmosphere there. And of course, my hometown, Munich; going back always makes me feel at ease.

Host: Great choices. A ten-month member, Drogon14, asks: "What is your favorite goal from your career?"

Adeyemi: My favorite would have to be the one I scored against Chelsea in the Champions League.

Host: That was indeed a classic.

Adeyemi: But since joining Barcelona, the goal against Feyenoord is also one of my favorites. I scored that with my weaker foot, and it felt especially spectacular.

Host: Another great goal comes to mind – what about the goal against Levante?

Adeyemi: Yes, that was also quite beautiful.

Host: That run was absolutely brilliant! Karim, you've scored many incredible goals for Barcelona; will there be more in the future?

Adeyemi: Of course, I hope to score more in the future.

Host: Seven-month member Issa Koulé asks: "Hey Karim, who was your Barcelona idol growing up?"

Adeyemi: The answer is obvious. For me, Messi has always been the best player in the world. It was incredible to witness the glory he created at Barcelona.

Host: Ferran79 asks: "How is your adaptation process here?" You touched on this earlier, but fans want to know how you're gelling with coach Flick and your teammates, and they also ask: "How is your Spanish coming along?"

Adeyemi: The adaptation process has been very smooth. I feel extremely comfortable and at ease here. I love the sunshine and the warm, friendly people. As for my Spanish...

Host: Little by little?

Adeyemi: I'm still working hard to learn it. My teammates in the locker room have taught me many words, and I'm trying to imitate the pronunciation. Once everything is settled, I'll study it more systematically.

Host: Step by step, everything takes time. Spicy Spring Roll asks: "Since joining Barcelona, what do you like most about it here?"

Adeyemi: It's hard to pick one specific thing. I think it's everything here. The entire club exudes charm from the inside out. All the details about Barcelona make me feel incredible.

Host: Great mindset. An interesting question from Luis Basketball16: "Adeyemi, if you couldn't pick Messi, who would you choose as a partner from all the players in Barcelona's history?" He's ruled out the easiest option.

Adeyemi: Haha, can I pick a few?

Host: You can pick as many as you like.

Adeyemi: Then I'd choose Iniesta, Neymar, and Ronaldinho.

Host: What a luxury! This quartet plus you could form a dream attack. I strongly agree. Next is a question from Al-Saqaf: "Among Barcelona's La Masia academy players, who has impressed you the most so far?"

Adeyemi: The most impressive...

Host: The most impressive, the most outstanding.

Adeyemi: Among the young players I've watched since I arrived, Xavi Espart has really stood out. His composure in high-intensity matches has deeply impressed me. Although it's not entirely his debut season, it's certainly the first time he's taken on such significant game responsibilities, and his performance at Barcelona has been impeccable.

Host: You're talking about Xavi Espart, an absolute top prospect. This is an interesting question from Mumudif: "Do you plan to score more spectacular long-range goals in the future?"

Adeyemi: Every day! Of course.

Host: Looks like there's more in store.

Adeyemi: Although such goals can't be intentionally planned, I'm always striving to score more goals for the team.
