"In the summer of 2023, he rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia worth more than €120m net over three years because he felt the affection of the fans and decided to stay at the club," Icardi's agent, George Gardi, told Sky Italia.
Two years on and former Inter Milan star Icardi remains with Gala and in the affection of the local support.
This season, the veteran striker has six goals in eleven Super Lig matches. Icardi's contrct expires in June.
