Chuba Akpom scored twice as Ajax continued their upturn under new boss John van't Schip by beating Heerenveen on Sunday.
Ajax took the lead against the run of play after 24 minutes when Steven Berghuis crossed the ball to the far post and captain, Steven Bergwijn steered the ball past Heerenveen goalkeeper Andries Noppert.
The lead was doubled after 41 minutes.
Branco van den Boomen crossed for Brian Brobbey to head home at the far post.
Heerenveen pulled a goal back when Luuk Brouwers directed his header into the far corner from a cross by right-back Oliver Braude.
Heerenveen twice went close to grabbing an equaliser before Akpom came on and got his second goal in two matches for Van't Schip.
Berghuis' shot was saved by Noppert and the rebound fell to Akpom, who nodded the ball home.
Akpom sealed the victory from close range in injury-time.
Ajax moved up to 11th in the Eredivisie and play their third home match in a row on Thursday against Brighton in the Europa League.

Akpom.. I packed him in fifa mobile back when he was at Arsenal.. glad that he is finally getting it done in big Leagues... Ajax will probably make a good player out of him and then dish him out for a boatload of money
