Alaba's father: I cannot confirm the information coming from Spain

The father of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, George, has denied that an agreement is in place for his son to join Real Madrid on a free in the summer.

This comes after MARCA reported on Monday night that a deal had been struck for a four-year deal worth close to 11 million euros a year.

"I cannot confirm the information coming from Spain. There is nothing fixed or signed," George Alaba told the German newspaper Bild.

The Austria international's father has pointed out that nothing has been signed and that there are still clubs, such as Liverpool, who are interested in the Bayern defender.

As MARCA explained in Tuesday's newspaper, though, Alaba has already reached an agreement with Real Madrid and has even passed his medical examination.
