Alexander Isak has put his home in the north east back on the rental market as he continues to pursue a route out of Newcastle - informing the club he has no plans to play for them again
Alexander Isak's home in Newcastle is on the rental market as the Swede makes another clear indication of his desire to quit Newcastle - having made it clear he has no plans to play for the club again.
The striker has been denied the chance to move to Liverpool, who are heavily linked with his signature and have seen an opening bid rejected. He remains on the fringes of the first-team squad and was omitted from a day for the families of Newcastle's players.
It was after that snub that the home he's been occupying in the north east was put up for rent. The Times reports that his want to leave is so strong that he has moved out of the property in Ponteland, with the owner now seeking new tenants.
Isak had lived there ever since he moved to Newcastle from Real Sociedad in 2022 - a period that spanned three years. The property was first put on the market when Isak flew to Spain for personal training.
It was advertised for £6,950 a month on the same day he left for Spain, where he spent time training at his former club in San Sebastian. It was later taken off the market, but is now being advertised once again with a local rental company.
Isak and his camp cut off contract talks with Newcastle earlier this month and have continued to shun any opportunity to discuss staying at the club, continuing to underline his desire to leave. The problem for the forward is the hardline approach taken by the St James' Park hierarchy.
Liverpool were told that Newcastle were not going to consider a sale when they saw a bid worth around £110m rejected, which has resulted in them backing away from further negotiations. The Reds have confirmed they won't up their offer unless the stance at St James' Park changes.
It is understood that, even if a new striker is signed by Newcastle, they will not u-turn on their firm stance regarding Isak's future. Howe has been aware of the hierarchy's stance has been left to smooth things out with the player.
Isak though is 'adamant' he has played his final game for the club. The Sweden star, who scored a career best 27 times last season, has no plan to reintegrate into Newcastle's squad even if no deal is agreed before the September 1 deadline.

Wasn't the fact that he refused to extend sign enough that he wanted to leave? Liverpool was convinced they would get him to extend and that's why they didn't get much of a fee for him.
you're right about liverpool thinking they would get him to sign anew contract but he didn't say anything , Issak has told Newcastle and thats a big difference

Isak is handling this issue very poorly. No matter what he thinks or feels, Newcastle still has the upper hand because they can decide to put him on the bench for the whole of his 3 years contracts, and they won't allow any sale because they are not poor club that need the money to stay afloat. Him and his management must be very calm and sort out the situation amicably with Newcastle. He shouldn't forget that other suitors would be worried about his attitude regarding what's currently going on. He should at least give Newcastle one more season with a gentleman agreement between him and Newcastle in place, which will let him leave next summer. That should be his sacrifice to Newcastle for giving him the chance to showcase his talent in the premier league. He should settle with Newcastle, and hopefully, he can perform better than last season.
Ekitike rejected the move to Newcastle because Liverpool entered the race. Newcastle wanted him to partner with Isak, and that was true, but they would have changed their stance and sold Isak if they had succeeded in bringing Ekitike in, and they would have gotten another striker. The problem here is because Newcastle has not been able to get a replacement for him. Before the transfer, the widow closes if Newcastle is able to get a striker, they will let him go. After all, no player is indispensable. Let's not be surprise that Isak might go to Liverpool and flop, Cutinho to Barcelona is a case study. He should have been grateful to Liverpool for bringing him to the EPL, while not give them another season with a gentleman agreement in place to leave next summer, after all, Newcastle have a champions league to offer and they are progressing on their project.

Even with that, Isak and his management are not handling the situation in the best way. Don't forget that Newcastle must not sell Isak to balance their book because if that was the case, they would have accepted the 110m pounds Liverpool offered. I hope they resolve it amicably because I don't see Newcastle playing to his biddings, and he should know that Newcastle has nothing to lose but rather Isak have a lot to lose if he's benched for a whole season and don't first that the World Cup is around the corner. He should have a second thought about his actions because since Newcastle is not getting any of their target throughout the transfer widow, it will be difficult for them to let their star leave. Liverpool is the sole cause of the problem. Not only because of their bid for Isak, but they also entered the race with Newcastle in the signing of Ekikite when they would have allowed Newcastle to sign him so they could sign Isak from Newcastle If I am Newcastle, I won't sell Isak to Liverpool.
How is Liverpool at fault here. Newcastle made it clear that Isak isn't for sale and rejected 110m from Liverpool, Newcastle intended to sign Ekitike to partner Isak and Liverpool signed Ekitike after the offer was rejected. If Newcastle had told Liverpool that they won't sell until a replacement is gotten, Liverpool won't have signed Ekitike but they utter that speech after Ekitike was signed by Liverpool, then they had to sell Diaz to fund Isak fee

Arnold waited his contract run out without telling of his intentions to leave he cashed out on us knowing Madrid won't pay his transfer fees, Isssak made Newcastle aware of his intentions to leave weeks before last season ended. The fact that his camp has been very silent about this doesn't mean they are the bad guys here.

Liverpool fans are just aggressive about this Isak issues let just say Isak end up in Liverpool this summer and Madrid come for him next summer he’s going do same thing to you people as he’s doing now with Newcastle 🙂
That's the beauty of the game Owen, Suarez, Torres, Alonso, Continho, Mane, Trent Arnold etc has done same to Liverpool in the past but Liverpool remain. No single player is bigger than a club. Newcastle should let Isak go since he said he don't want to play for them again There is no need forcing a player who said he want to leave cos his mind is made up

In mid-2011, Modrić was heavily pursued by Tottenham's London rivals Chelsea, who made a first bid of £22 million, which they increased to £27 million, both of which were rejected by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.[83][84] After the failed bids, Modrić announced he would welcome a move across London and that he had a "gentleman's agreement" with Levy the club would entertain offers from a "big club".[85] Speculation continued throughout the summer transfer window, _culminating in Modrić refusing to play in Tottenham's opening match of the 2011–12 season against Manchester United,_ which ended in a 3–0 loss.[86] Modrić said his "head was not in the right place" as he continued to force a move to Chelsea.[87] On the final day of the transfer window, Chelsea made an offer of £40 million that was again rejected.[88

Luka Modric transfer from Spurs to Real Madrid was also rocky, and lately we heard Rio Ferdinand encouraging Gyokores to be aggressive in order to force a move from Porto...so nothing is new in this Isak case.

Newcastle is to blame for all these. Liverpool told them give us Isak so u get ekitike and Newcastle bluntly said no that they want the two of them to play together thereby rubbing shoulders with Liverpool forgetting they have no history and pulling power. I rather don't blame Isak but Newcastle and I believe there must be a gentleman agreement in place that they are not abiding to which is making Isak angry

Both ISAK camp and Newcastle board are making a big mistake regarding this issue. ISAK should remember that his behavior can affect him in his sext club. On the other hand, Newcastle management should also remember that they are scaring other players. That’s why their search for new players is hitting the rock.

Isak don't want to play for Newcastle United again. So be it. Newcastle United bared him from going on their recent with the rest of the team. Newcastle United bared him from training with the rest of the team and as if that wasn't enough, Newcastle United bared his family from a recent get together. Humiliation upon Humiliation. The right thing to do is to let him go. Newcastle United have no right to hold him as a donkey. Period.

It's easier said than done. Don't forget he has a whopping 3 years remaining on his contract with Newcastle, so it won't be easy for him to buy out his contract. In every aspect, Newcastle has an upper hand, and they know it, and that's why they are playing the hard ball game. So, it's best for Isak to trend with caution before they ruin his career.

What an idiot Isak is. He had the world at his feet and particularly all of Newcastle fans around the world treating him as a hero.
